http://www.asce.org/
This link was probably one of the most helpful links I ran across. It is jamb packed with all kinds of interesting information useful to the up and coming civil engineer. The wed page is very organized and offers helpful insight on current topics in the civil engineering community. It is updated frequently with news, such as the earthquake that just hit Chili and what engineers are doing for the people affected by this tragedy. The web page also offers current events and recent awards won in the world for amazing engineering feats like China's Sutong Bridge. There are also free articles and papers available for people looking for some free literature. This page also has links to career openings and conference info, seminars and anything else one could want out of a web page. If you are considering a career in the field of civil engineering give the page a couple minutes of your time.
